Terms and Conditions for MechFi Designs LLC

MechFi Designs LLC is committed to delivering high-quality machined parts and products per customer specifications with competitive lead times. To maintain efficiency and meet expectations, we rely on accurate and timely information from our customers. These Standard Terms and Conditions govern all quotes, purchase orders, credit card orders, and invoices unless otherwise specified.

Quoted Lead Time

Lead times provided in quotes are estimates and not guaranteed. Variations may occur due to material availability, workload, or unforeseen circumstances. Confirmed lead times will be provided upon order acceptance.

Pricing

Pricing is based on information provided during the Request for Quote (RFQ) process and is valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are all-inclusive, requiring purchase of quoted quantities to receive bulk rates. MechFi Designs LLC reserves the right to requote if quantities, materials, finishes, or processes change.

Purchase Orders

All purchase orders are reviewed against our quotes for accuracy. MechFi Designs LLC is not responsible for discrepancies in purchase orders, including changes to quantities, materials, finishes, or additional requests (e.g., inspections, certifications, or documentation) not reflected in the original quote.

Additional Quantities

Customers agree to accept additional quantities produced by MechFi Designs LLC at no extra cost, provided they meet specifications.

Customer-Supplied Data

MechFi Designs LLC is not liable for errors in customer-provided data, including incorrect dimensions, mismatches between drawings and CAD files, last-minute changes, or corrupted files.

Customer-Caused Delays

MechFi Designs LLC is not responsible for delays or missed deadlines due to customer actions, such as material changes, clarifications on provided data, hardware sourcing issues, or requested holds. In such cases, a revised delivery date will be provided, and customers should update their purchase order accordingly.

Expedite Charges

Expedited lead times may be available upon request, subject to additional charges for labor, machine time, or third-party services. If an expedite request is made during production, the customer agrees to cover additional costs.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled at any time, but the customer is liable for costs incurred, including materials, labor, tooling, engineering, and finishing. Charges will be determined at the time of cancellation.

Quality Claims

MechFi Designs LLC warrants that parts meet customer-provided specifications unless otherwise noted or where tolerances are unachievable. Claims for shortages must be reported within five (5) business days of delivery. Claims for rework or defective parts must be reported within fourteen (14) business days of delivery. Customers must return defective parts at their expense for credit or rework. MechFi Designs LLC is not liable for errors in customer-provided data. If parts cannot be corrected, a materials fee (approximately 50% of the purchase order value) may apply.

Third-Party Partners

MechFi Designs LLC may engage domestic or international partners for aspects of production, including materials, finishing, inspection, or shipping. Customers will be notified of any unexpected costs (e.g., for plating, welding, or shipping) and charged accordingly.

Shipping and Delivery

MechFi Designs LLC is not responsible for damages or delays during shipping or production caused by accidents, equipment failures, labor disputes, supplier delays, acts of God, or other uncontrollable events. Standard bulk packaging applies unless otherwise specified, with customers responsible for additional packaging or handling costs.

Taxes

Customers are responsible for all applicable sales, use, or other taxes and duties imposed by federal, state, or local authorities unless collected by MechFi Designs LLC during invoicing.

Limited Liability

MechFi Designs LLC’s liability is limited to the value of each individual purchase order or payment. The company is not liable for consequential or special damages arising from delays, defects, or use of its products.

Recovery of Costs

In any legal action related to these terms, MechFi Designs LLC, if prevailing, is entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, including those for negotiation, trial, appellate, or other proceedings.

Governing Law

All legal actions or proceedings related to these terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and resolved in Colorado courts.
